A committee from the Standardization and Quality Control Body in the Ministry of Planning visited the College of Pharmacy at the university of Basrah.
And the Dean of the College of Pharmacy, Prof. Dr. Falah Hassan Shari, said: We received the Committee for Standardization and Quality Control for the purpose of granting the central laboratory in the college a certificate of accreditation and reviewing the equipment and laboratory tests.
Shari added: The central laboratory contains unique devices on a world level, including a scanning electron microscope, atomic absorption device, a dish casting device, and other important devices in examining medicines, their quality and validity.
