This study presents a new method for assessing image quality based on Topological Data Analysis (TDA) which is used to evaluate the denoising of color images and also to evaluate the performance of noise reduction models based on Partial Differential Equations (PDEs). The experimental results showed that the proposed evaluation model gives a high correlation. Moreover, the proposed method provides very low computational burden and similar feature extraction for assessing human cognition.
