The classification unit in the University of Basrah has organized a symposium with the media units to get acquainted to the nature of their work and to elevate their status. .
The symposium, which saw the participation of the media unit in the College of Dentistry, which was held on the deanship's main hall, discussed the methods of how to improve the academic media to reach the desired level locally, on an Arabian scale and globally.
The symposium aims to achieve cooperation between the classification unit and the media staff in the University of Basrah.
It is also mentioned that the University of Basrah has received the first placement locally, second placement as an Arabian country and the 67th placement globally within the classification the British Thames that depends on the goals of the United Nations for the sustainable development.
