Launching the activities of the University Culture Forum at Al-Farahidi Street for Culture and Book
The activities of the University Culture Forum were launched on Friday evening at Al-Farahidi Street for Culture and Book in activation of the most important items of the memorandum of cooperation sentered by the Cultural Center at the University of Basra with the Basra Achievement Foundation for Development and Development.
Where the Cultural Center, in cooperation with the Faculty of Agriculture, joins the first activities of this forum through the output exhibition of a group of scientific and humanitarian colleges, which included the most important projects and the most prominent theses and theses in various topics.
Prof. Dr. Abdul Karim Abboud Odeh, Director of the Cultural Center at the University of Basra, said, "This activity falls within the project of the university's presence and presence in society and between its various classes and segments through Al-Farahidi Street and creating a state of cognitive and intellectual communication because the university is the largest academic institution in the city."
While the exhibition was attended by Prof. Dr. Sajid Hassan Al-Noor, Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture, who expressed his happiness with such activities, stressing his continuous support for the spread of culture in the city.
It is worth mentioning that the Cultural Center at the University of Basra strives to sustain the momentum of cultural and artistic activities, especially outside the walls of the university, integrate with society in an actual and real way, and pay attention to the talents of young people and provide their sponsors through the programs that the center is constantly preparing. It is hoped that the university's presence on Al-Farahidi Street will be weekly, as is the rest of the existing activities.
