

The University of Basra concluded the activities of the scientific conference under the auspices of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and in the presence of the Ministerial Team for E-Learning entitled Assessment and Evaluation of E-Learning and Embedded Learning on the Path to Transformation towards Fourth Generation Digital Universities.
Where the President of the University, Prof. Dr. Saad Shaheen Hammadi, reviewed the most important achievements of our university in the field of e-learning and blended education and the steps towards the fourth generation digital universities.
The conference included a review of the e-learning platform at the University of Basra, and an explanation of the features and capabilities that are currently being worked on with Iraqi hands from the University of Basra, as well as displaying the statistics of electronic classes for all professors of the University of Basra and the most important features of the University of Basra website and the digital human resources system.
The ministerial team also launched the tagged book from the University of Basra, entitled Notes in E-Learning, written by the coordinator of the Ministerial Team for E-Learning, Dr. Amer Al-Amir, and focused attention on the (webometrics) platform approved by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research to classify the levels of Iraqi universities’ sites.
