Avicenna E-Learning Center at the University of Basra held a special meeting for e-learning in the presence of officials and specialists at the College of Medicine
The director of Avicenna E-Learning Center, Dr. Uday Bashir Issa, said that the meeting aims to prepare and provide all scientific supplies, information networks and educational laboratories to use E-Learning Platform for the academic year 2020-2021 and conduct a comprehensive electronic exam for students of primary studies at the College of Medicine during the current month of October, as well as a discussion The percentage of achievement in the accounts of students and teaching staff, where the College of Medicine is considered one of the colleges that have experience in using the University of Basra's E-learning platform
The meeting dealt with the need to provide video lessons in simplified ways on how to use E-Learning Platform and manage the electronic classroom, in addition to video explanations for electronic tests and exams, and the preparation of an explanatory video to add students to their electronic classes.
The meeting recommended handing over all accounts of the platform to students and teachers, ensuring its functioning, and setting a date for a simultaneous electronic test for all branches in the College of Medicine, as well as updating and preparing electronic lectures for teachers in the form of (Power Point) or (PDF).
