Avicenna E-Learning Center at the University of Basra concluded the activities of the professional training course for e-learning, which was held under the auspices of the President of the University of Basra, Prof. Dr. Saad Shaheen Hammadi Under the supervision of the assistant president of the scientific university, Prof. Zaki Abdullah Ahmed, and the follow-up of the ministerial team.
The course, which was held for the period 10/24-19/11/2020, aims to introduce modern teaching techniques into the design of active and effective lectures using available technology that matches educational objectives.
The course, which was conducted by twelve electronic workshops, was attended by many professors of the University of Basra and various Iraqi universities, on how to move smoothly from traditional classroom education to effective e-learning through practical lessons by setting courses, downloading and uploading educational lectures in the most popular platforms used for e-learning.
The training course came out with several recommendations, the most prominent of which was interest and benefit from technological services and modern technologies available in educational platforms to keep pace with modern innovations in the field of e-learning.
