Avicenna E-Learning Center at the University of Basra announced the selection of the director of the center, Dr. Uday Bashir Issa, as a representative of the University of Basra, for the two e-learning and distance education projects in Iraqi universities.
The project implemented by the Research and Development Department at the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research aims to establish an advanced learning and teaching pattern in line with the orientation of universities in the developed world and in line with UNESCO’s recommendations in shifting towards digital educational services.
The selection of Dr. Uday Bashir Issa came for his scientific standing and the publication of many scientific research in scientific journals inside and outside Iraq, in addition to his participation in international conferences for e-learning and distance education.
