Under the auspices of the Deanship of the College of Nursing at the University of Basrah and the supervision of Prof. Dr. Abdulameer Abdullah Almusawi, Dean of the College, a scientific research was discussed within the graduation projects of the fourth stage students and the research was prepared by the student Hassan Hamdan and the student Ruwaida Ramadan and entitled (Nurses’ knowledge about the Drugs used in Cardiac Care Units In Basra Hospitals) under the supervision of the assistant lecturer Ahmed Thamer, the discussion took place electronically via the “Cookie Dead” platform on Monday 12/7/2021. The discussion committee was chaired by the lecturer Dr. Husham Hussain, and the membership of the lecturer Kazem Jawad and the assistant lecturer Khadija Muhammad. The study included a sample of nurses working in the cardiac resuscitation wards in Basra hospitals, using a questionnaire designed for the purpose of evaluating their knowledge about the medicines used in the cardiac resuscitation wards. The study proved that there is a significant relationship between their knowledge and years of work in the resuscitation wards. The researchers recommended the establishment of training programs for nurses working in cardiac resuscitation halls on the drugs used in these halls. Almusawi praised the research idea and the results and recommendations reached by the researchers and commended the efforts of the student researchers, the research supervisor and the discussion committee, wishing them more giving in the service of our dear college and university. |
