Under the auspices of the Deanship of the College of Nursing at the University of Basrah and the supervision of Prof. Dr. Abdulameer Abdullah Almusawi Dean of the College, a scientific research was discussed within the graduation projects of the fourth stage students and the research was prepared by the students, Shahd Atheer and Shahd Abdul-Amir, entitled (Evaluating the Performance of E-learning from the viewpoint of students of the College of Nursing in Basrah in light of the spread of Covid-19), under the supervision of Assistant Professor Luay Abdel Wahed. The discussion took place electronically via the Google Meet platform on Monday 12/7/2021. And the discussion committee was chaired by the lecturer Dr. Husham Hussain, and the membership of the lecturer Kazem Jawad and the assistant lecturer Khadija Muhammad. The study included a sample of students from the College of Nursing at the University of Basrah using a questionnaire designed for the purpose of studying their opinions about e-learning in terms of (the availability and speed of the Internet, opinions about electronic lectures and their effectiveness, opinions about electronic exams). The researchers recommended the necessity of providing a good speed internet for students, equipping students with the appropriate devices for e-learning, holding continuous training courses for teachers about lectures and electronic exams, and using different platforms. Almusawi praised the research idea and the results and recommendations reached by the researchers and commended the efforts of the student researchers, the research supervisor and the discussion committee, wishing them more giving in the service of our dear college and university. |
