Dissertation Outline: The dissertation falls into four chapters and conclusion, The first chapter talks about the origin and tribal proportions of Sanhaja tribe, and its religion. The second chapter deals with Sanhajah social and economic circumstances in Andalusia. The third chapter focuses on the political and military role of the Sanhajah in Andalusia during the period (92-422 AH / 710-1030). The fourth chapter dealt with the intellectual contribution of the Sanhajah in Andalusia,
Topic & Abstract: The dissertation tackles important role of the Sanhajah tribe in public life in Andalusia played at various levels and areas for the Islamic state and its expansion in Andalusia. Also the origin and tribal proportions, and religion of Sanhaja tribe before and after Islam. The political, intellectual, and military role of them in Andalusia.
Conclusion: The dissertation has come up with the following conclusion, the Sanhajah tribe has great role in various fields (political, social, economic …atc) in supporting Islamic State in Andalusia.
Recommendations: The study recommends to do more studies about other tribes in Andalusia and show their role and importance.
