The efforts of the Deanship of the College of Arts still continue which working on the afforestation campaign on the occasion of the agricultural week that launched by the Presidency of the University of Basra. In this consideration, the technical and service cadres in the College of Arts carried out a large-scale afforestation campaign by exploiting the dry areas and planting trees and roses. The afforestation campaign comes after the process of flattening the soil and preparing it for cultivation where a suitable ground was prepared for the nursery of fruit trees and palm bulb as well as flowers and roses, which will bloom soon.
