As the dean of the College of Dentistry University of Basrah, Assistant. Professor Dr. Fateh Abdulsahib Al-Khakani has attended a meeting, for a committee comprised of several deans of Dental colleges in the capital of Baghdad on 15 July 2021 where the meeting was held in the Iraqi university.
The meeting saw the participation of several deans of Dental colleges from all of Iraq's provinces. The meeting discussed several technical and administrative vague manners, which revolve around the Dental colleges in particular, and the means solving issues, the methods of work-development to fit the evolution of the world in all areas including Dentistry.
Furthermore, Al-Khakani added, that the meeting examined the mechanism of conducting the electronic and in-person final examinations to overcome all obstacles and taking into account, the students' conditions and offering them financial, technical and moral assistance. The meeting also discussed another set of relevant manners including; discussing the colleges' infrastructures' current state, discussing the postgraduate studies by defining the required specialties and filling in the shortage of rare specialties.
As the meeting was coming to a close, the national- independency was addressed with the means of it's development and how to make it match the international standards.
