University of Basra discusses King Ali bin Sharif Hussein and his military and political role 1916-1935.
     A master's thesis in the Department of History at the College of Education for Women at the University of Basra examined King Ali bin Sharif Hussein and his military and political role 1916-1935.
    The thesis of the student Liloh Abtan Mohsen included the upbringing of King Ali bin Sharif Hussein and the beginning of his political activity between 1879-1916, as well as his role in the Great Arab Revolt, and the declaration of the Kingdom of Hejaz as king over it, as well as his political role in Iraq between 1926-1935.
    The thesis aims to shed light on this figure who did not receive his sufficient share in the historical literature and to reveal the axis that King Ali played militarily and politically as one of the prominent figures in his country.
