Under the direction of the President of Basra University, Prof. Dr. Saad Shaheen Hammadi, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Medicine, Prof. Dr. Khalil Ismail Al-Hamdi, the College of Medicine of Basra University continues the Agricultural Week campaign launched by the University Presidency to increase green areas and under the slogan “Plant even a tree”. A group of college employees participated in the campaign. The campaign included cleaning the gardens and planting seedlings and canopy trees. The desert areas were rehabilitated and used in the afforestation process. Serious work is still going on until the completion of the afforestation process.
