The College of Arts at the University of Basra / Department of Philosophy held a seminar entitled
(The Social effects of the Corona virus)
The seminar included a lecture given by Dr. Sabla Talal Yassin
She highlighted the awareness of the risks arising from infection with the Corona virus, especially the psychological effects on young and old, as the virus affected the human ability to plan and organize, and also affected the economic factor significantly and the high percentage of those who lost their jobs.
The seminar included the long-term effects of those recovering from the Corona virus, such as excessive obesity as a result of taking anti-viral drugs, as well as inflammation of the heart muscle in some patients.
The seminar touched on the commitment of those recovering from the virus to a normal lifestyle, exercising a great deal, taking care of eating healthy food and not using modern devices in abundance, because the continuous closure contributed to an increase in their use and the impact on the brain and an increase in headaches.
