College of Pharmacy , university of basrah held a seminar about the use of microwaves in the preparation of cyclic organic compounds.
The College of Pharmacy at the university of basrah organized a seminar entitled (The use of microwaves in the preparation of organic compounds and the study of biological activity) presented by Dr. Suha Katie Salal.
The seminar explained how to use microwave technology in the preparation of new cyclic compounds derived from galcon compounds, as well as the preparation of chains of galcon compounds by using traditional methods. The seminar also illustrated that the synthesized compounds have great activities towards the bacteria and fungi.
