The College of Nursing at the University of Basrah hosts a procession to commemorate the painful Ashura.

 On the occasion of the holy month of Muharram and the anniversary of the martyrdom of Imam Hussein bin Ali (peace be upon him), his family and his companions, we offer our condolences to the owner of the era and time (old) on the martyrdom of Maulana Hussein on the occasion of Ashura.  Proceeding from the saying of the Most High: (That and whoever honors the rituals of God, it is from the piety of hearts) God Almighty has spoken the truth

 And on the authority of the Messenger of God, Muhammad, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him and his family, (when he ascended me to the seventh heaven, it was written on the right of the throne that Hussain was the lamp of guidance, the ark of salvation).

 From this standpoint, the College of Nursing at the University of Basrah organized a procession of condolences.  On his part, Prof. Dr. Abdulameer Abdullah Almusawi said: (Al-Hussein (peace be upon him) is not measured by revolutionaries, but by prophets. Karbala is not measured by cities, but by the heavens. Ashura is not measured by the events of time, but by the turnings of the universe.  Rather, it is a method, not a word, but a banner) and everyone has to present to Hussein as Hussein presented the most valuable thing he possesses to all human beings, and the Husseini principles must be inspired and work to be applied and disseminated in society.  Therefore, the least we can offer during these days is to hold the funeral, attend the funeral, and draw inspiration from the lessons and lessons provided by Imam Al-Hussein.  We distance the revolution of Al-Hussein, peace be upon him, from all the myths and legends that befit it, for it does not need all of that.. because it is from Al-Hussein.

 And the lecturer at the college added, Farhan Laith, who wants to be sincere in every work we offer, especially if it is for Imam Hussein..... because the servant is loyal to us with his blood and all his possessions..
