College of Pharmacy at Pharmacology and Toxicology department -University of Basra held a seminar entitled(New plans for the treatment of idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis )presented by the lecture Rasha Naseer Mohammed The seminar outlined plans for the treatment of pulmonary fibrosis, which is characterized by restricted lung function.
The new methods include using of treatments that prevent fibrosis, such as treatment with Nantidaneep and Parvendon .The seminar showed that the aim of these plans of treatment is to reduce the severity and prognosis of the disease and mortality rate by reducing the presence of fibrotic tissues around the lung in order to improve its functions and thus increase patients longevity.
