The Student Activities Department at the University of Basra ranked eighth among the contestants for the first ten positions for the first electronic national competition for reciting the Noble Qur’an for students of Iraqi universities, which was organized by the Student Activities Department at the University of Kufa in cooperation with the General Secretariat of the Holy Upper Shrine and the General Secretariat of the Great Mosque of Kufa and under the supervision of the Student Activities Department in The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research The student (Adnan Naim) from the University of Basra participated in the competition among 40 Iraqi public and private universities whose students competed to highlight their abilities and talents in this specialty.
