| Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Thamer Ahmed Hamdan, President of Basra University, the College of Nursing at Basra University held an art exhibition on community service. Mr. Alaa Jabbar, head of the media unit at the college and the artistic supervisor of the festival, said that the College of Nursing was able today to present a model for sober artistic carnivals through the interaction of all its students On one side and its administrative and teaching staff on the other hand. The festival, which was inaugurated by Prof. Dr. Sajid Saad Al-Nur, Assistant President of Basra University, accompanied by (Prof. Dr. Nael Hussein Ali), Dean of the College of Nursing, and accompanied by his scientific and administrative assistants, and a large gathering of students, teachers and college staff, included three main activities that were embodied by the opening of an art exhibition for photography in addition to holding a seminar entitled (Lack of attention and hyperactivity) given by the instructor Dr. Sajjad Salem Issa and Dr. Ayman Zamil, in addition to honoring the distinguished faculty staff. The Dean of the College affirmed that his college seeks to keep pace with all activities and events that are in harmony with the nature of the Iraqi reality, considering the university an important component of the social system. Prof. Dr. Sajid Saad Al-Noor expressed his pride and pride in all that was presented by students and faculty members, stressing the university’s endeavor to provide continuous support for similar activities, especially after the great success of this exhibition. |
