The continuing Education and Development Center at the University of Basra organized an online course about self-understanding and dealing (with others ).
The aim of the workshop, which is a part of the leadership skills course, to acquant the participants with the necessary leadership management skills and training participants on how to influence human behavior and the art of leading others and achieve work efficiently and effectively, and promoting motivation, initiative, innovation, and self-confidence to improve institutional performance.
The workshop that was presented by Professor of Curricula and Teaching Methods Dr. Nidaa Muhammad Baqir Al-Yasiri, the director of the Continuing Education and Development Center at the University of Basra, including an explanation of the brain dominance theory of the Hermann scale and to introduce the characters through resulting behavior from the types of dominant thinking and the answer to the questio: Why leadership? its importance, the definition of leadership and the leader, and what's the difference between leadership, and leadership management?
At the same time, the participants through answering a questionnaire for Hermann's model, had interactional dialogue about its application and results.
