Honoring the participants in the self-marketing course for people with special needs The Cultural Center of Basra University, in cooperation with the Iraqi Blind Association, Basra branch, held on Tuesday, 30/8/2021, an honoring ceremony in which certificates of thanks and appreciation and certificates of participation were distributed in the course (self-marketing through social media), which was held by the center for a period of three days as of 25/7/2021 on the zoom platform. More than thirty-three people with special needs participated in the course. The participations took on an Iraqi and international character, especially from Morocco, Lebanon, Algeria and Oman. The honoring ceremony included a reading of the Holy Quran and a set of welcome words from the Director of the Cultural Center and the President of the Blind Association. Mr. The Director of the Center for Arab Gulf Studies, Dr. Qais Nasser, gave a speech in which he praised the university's efforts to embrace this segment, then creative and creative in its professional and humanitarian work. Mr. Nael Qassem Nawam, the coach of the course, reviewed the agenda for the three days. This review concluded with a set of guidance and instructions to develop the capabilities and continuity of the trainers. Prof. Dr. Abdul Karim Abboud Oda, Director of the Cultural Center, said that the University of Basra, represented by the Cultural Center, has developed a schedule of cooperation with the Blind Association by signing a cooperation agreement that seeks to embrace this important segment and highlight their creative potential in the life industry and challenge them to provide what is best for man and humanity. The ceremony included the presentation of three Arab participants of speeches in the content of which was their thanks and appreciation to the University of Basra because it sought to pay attention to them through social networks, while emphasizing their upcoming participations with their Iraqi brothers with special needs. In conclusion, certificates of thanks and appreciation and certificates of participation were distributed to all participants in the session.
