| The College of Nursing at Basrah University commemorated the martyrdom of Imam Ali Bin Al Hussein Al-Sajjad, may the best prayers and peace be upon them both, on Thursday, Muharram 25 of the year 1443 AH, in the presence of Al-Sayyed Dr. Badr Al-Mousawi, Director of the Holy Quran Complex in Basrah and a lecturer at the College of Education for Girls at the University of Basrah. The session included a lecture given by His Eminence Sayyid Badr, during which he touched on some concepts of the Noble Qur’an and the relationship of Imam al-Sajjad with it and how to interpret and manage it. The lecturer , Dr. Husham Hussain Abdul-Ra'aoof , and the lecturer Farhan Layez, also spoke about the life of Imam Al-Sajjad and the most important events that took place during it, including what happened in the painful incident of Tuff and the procession of captives to the Levant, and how the imam bore that grave responsibility and then returned to Medina and took care of it the Prophet’s family throughout the oppression of the Umayyad rule, as well as to his opposition to the Imamate and how he worked to spread religious sciences despite the difficult political conditions at the time, and it was a life full of giving at all levels until he, peace be upon him, was martyred in the year 95 AH, affected by the poison by the order of the unjust Umayyad ruler, leaving us with great and many traces The most famous of these are Al-Sahifa Al-Sajjadia and Risalat Al-Huqooq. Peace be upon him the day he was born, the day he was martyred, and the day he will be raised alive, content and pleasing to Allah Almighty and a witness to a moment of injustice and oppression. May Allah grant you his visit in this world and his intercession in the hereafter. |
