The Continuing Education and Development
Center at the University of Basra organized an online workshop on the content of curricula within the development and qualification project.
The aim of the workshop, which is part of a developmental training course for faculty members, is to train participants on how to build curricula.
The workshop, which was presented by Dr. Faisal Abdul Munshid, included a definition of the content and the skills it contains and the relationship between them and the educational and behavioral goals and objectives.
The lecture also dealt with the foundations of organizing curricula, such as logical and psychological organization, and the types of curricula, as well as giving examples of each of these curricula.
In the end, the recommendation was to pay more attention to building modern curricula to keep pace with modern methods and progress.
