The Continuing Education and Development
Center at The University of Basra organized an online workshop on the Law of Discipline of State and Public Sector Employees No. 14 of 1991.
The aim of the workshop, which is part of the middle management course, is to acquaint the employees with the provisions and principles of the State and Public Sector Employees Discipline Law, in particular rights, duties, and penalties for job violations, and administrative investigation.
The workshop presented by the teacher, Etidal Abdul-Baqi Youssef, included a statement of the rights of employees in accordance with the law of discipline for state and public sector employees, the positive duties that the employee must perform legally, and the negative actions that the employee must legally refrain from, as well as shedding light on the guide to administrative powers.
At the end, the recommendation was that more courses should be held for state and public sector employees, with various topics and practical application
