Today, Monday, October 4, 2021, a conference to update and develop the curriculums of the College of Dentistry opened up with a blessed recitation from the Holy Qur’an, followed by the speech of the Dean of the College and a speech by the organizing committee of the conference. The conference included wide discussions to update the curriculums, starting with a discussion prepared by Assistant. Professor Dr. Salman Sahab Atshan, to develop the Microbiology curriculums for third-stage. Meanwhile, Lecturer. Dr. Shatha Qasim, discussed developing of Physiology curriculum for the second-stage.
Lecturer.Dr. Ali Taha, has presented his proposals for the development of the materials of Medical Chemistry and Bio Chemistry for the first and second stages.
The attendance listened to the proposals of Assistant. Lecturer Dr. Fatin Latef, Assistant. Lecturer. Dr. Hala Abbass Hussien to develop the curriculums of General Histology and Embryology For second-stage.
Assistant. Professor Dr. Rafid Mustafa AlBadr, discussed the means of developing the material of Medical Physics for first-stage.
Lecturer.Dr. Hanaa Ali Hussein, discussed the means of developing the material of Medical Biology for first-stage.
Lecturer.Dr. Abdalrahman Falih, discussed the means of developing the material of Medical Ethics For first-stage.
The material of Medical References was also discussed by its active academic teacher, Lecturer.Dr. Adil G. Fadil.
And concerning the material of Computer science, it was discussed by Lecturer. Dr. Ali Taha and he presented the most important ways to update its curriculum.
The first session of the first day of the conference’s schedule concluded with the discussion of updating the material of Freedom and Democracy with its active academic teacher, Saeed Kadhim.
