The Cultural Center at the University of Basrah concluded the activities of the photography competition (The Path of Right) with a competition of twenty photographic shots for ten photographers, which resulted in the photo of the young photographer Hussein Muslim winning the award for the best photographic shot
Regarding the atmosphere and the conditions of the competition, the director of the center, Dr. Abdul Karim Abboud Odeh, said, “The competition was held on the electronic (zoom) platform under the mitto (The Battle of Altaff, as a Culture and Building) as part of the activities of the third edition of the project of Our Youth, are Life Makers sponsored by the Center. It witnessed the participation of about 140 photos in the first stages, all of which spoke about the reality of the event using the mobile phone to take the photos. A specialized committee was formed of professional photographers, who were responsible for selecting about (20) shots suitable for publication and participation in the nearest exhibition organized by the center
Abboud added - The competition is a live and practical product of the efforts of the young graduates from the professional photography course for the photography coach Mr. Mahmoud Al-Jazaery, which was sponsored by the center earlier
As well as external participations by other young people, all the competing clips included live images from the march of those walking on the path of truth, the (Ya Hussein) road from Basrah to Karbala, heading with their souls and bodies towards the path of belonging to the revolution of Hussein (peace be upon him) so that their voices resound with the voice of truth
