Discussion of master thesis at the University of Basrah entitled Designing a circular microstrip antenna A Master thesis titled Designing a circular microstrip antenna using simulation software (HFSS) and manufacturing was defended at College of Science, Department of Physics on ) 2021/10/4 ), for the postgraduate Candidate Jasim Kaittan Shdekh. The aim of the thesis is a novel structure of a circular patch microstrip antenna based on external corrugations is designed, simulated, and measured to operate in S and C-bands applications. The parameters of this antenna structure, such as input impedance, bandwidth, gain, surface currents, and radiation patterns were studied and improved.
