Baghdad, Technology, Al-Mustansiriya and Basrah universities achieved advanced positions in the Times World University Ranking by subject 2022 in the disciplines of health and life sciences, physics, engineering and computer
The results of the Times showed that the universities of Baghdad and Al-Mustansiriya obtained the position (601) out of 925 universities around the world in the health sciences in the disciplines of medicine, dentistry and other health sciences, and the universities of Baghdad, Basrah and Al-Mustansiriya managed to achieve the position (801) out of 972 international university within the Life Sciences with its agricultural, biological, veterinary and sports sciences majors
In the physical sciences, which include the disciplines of chemistry, physics, geology, environment, land and seas, mathematics and statistics, the University of Technology ranked 501-600, while the University of Baghdad achieved the (801-1000) position, and the universities of Basrah and Al-Mustansiriya ranked (+1001) out of 1227 international universities
Out of 1088 ranked global universities, Baghdad, Basrah, Al-Mustansiriya and Technology Universities achieved the (801) position in engineering disciplines that include chemical engineering, civil engineering, electrical and electronics engineering, general engineering, mechanical engineering and aerospace engineering
In computer science, Baghdad, Al-Mustansiriya and Technology Universities ranked (801) out of 891 international universities
