A Master thesis titled The application of some physical techniques in the treatment and improvement of the quality of Crud and waste water was defended at College of Science, Department of Ecology on October 2021 :14, for the postgraduate Candidate Nada Ibrahim S Al-Mayahi. The aim of the thesis is Collecting water samples from Shatt Al-Arab and water samples from the wastewater treatment plant at the University of Basra and exposing them to some physical treatments (gamma rays, different temperatures and electric current) under laboratory conditions and measuring the most important physical, chemical and biological variables that determine the quality of water before and after conducting the treatment operations to determine the treatment conditions optimum.
