Announcement of the three winning films of the Filmmakers of Life in Basra

The Cultural Center at the University of Basra announced the three winning films at the Filmmakers Forum at the closing ceremony of the forum, which was held on the National Cinema Hall in cooperation with the University's Al-Kunooz College and Athar Krup for media production.
The results were announced in the presence of the judging committee consisting of the artist Mahmoud Abu Al-Abbas, the Iraqi writer Ihsan Wafiq Al-Samarai and the Iraqi artist Hana Mohammed, who presented the final statement and thanks to the organizers and sponsors of this important artistic event. The committee announced the first prize for the film (Red Window) by director Hussein Al-Akili. The second prize for the film (There is the most beautiful) was directed by Ahmed Abdel Moneim. The third prize was settled by the director of the film (It is yesterday) Luthab Mohammed
While the committee decided to award its own award for the film (Amani) directed by Fadel Mahoud.
These films were nominated for awards after competing within twenty films, which resulted in the selection committee, which consisted of Dr. Sarmad Al-Tamimi, Qusay Al-Aidani and Al-Qasi Ahmed Al-Saad, where they nominated the films (Red window) by director Hussein Al-Akili (the bag) Ali Ghidan (violet) by director Baqer Al-Rubaie (October) by Mustafa Rahim and (There is a beautiful) by director Hassanein Al-Hani (war) by director Muhammad Akaf (bamboo) and (Sheikh Ayel) for director Saad Al-Al-Amami (Amani) by director Fadel Mahoud (film 2033) by director Hossam Al-Mansouri (Shot) by director Zaid Shaker (it is yesterday) and Thab Muhammad (Do not tell Angelina) Zul-Faqar (Mitoza film) Ali Al-Madani (close your eyes well) by director Ali Al-Bayati (Duha) Mohammed Al-Ziyadi (Jerusa Firas (Ishtar) is the staff of Laibi (Yasser) Iyad Jabbar
The Director of the Cultural Center, Prof. Dr. Abdul Karim Abboud Odeh, said, "The goal and purpose of this forum is to activate the cinematic movement in the city and revive it through films and professional Iraqi directors to improve the history of cinema and maintain its historical achievement. The preparation of this event has been prepared and prepared since mid-June to develop scientific plans and mechanisms for the completion of this forum, which we witnessed its success through the great efforts made for this, especially the University Al-Kunooze College is filled with Mr. Dean A. Dr. Osama Nazim Al-Abadi, as well as Athar Karoub Media Production Company, headed by the distinguished film director Essam Jaafar Al-Athm and Time Square Radio for its media support, as well as the Director of Lighting, Mr. Mohammed Mazloum, and all those who had a small contribution to the success of this event, and we are moving forward in the cultural and artistic center to activate the cultural movement in the city of Basra."
The forum, which witnessed a large public presence on its sidelines and during its two days, included artistic activities embodied with the participation of the bamboo band, as well as the children's orchestra in Basra and an exhibition representing the publications of the participating films.
