The College of Nursing at the University of Basra, in cooperation with the Breast Disease Detection Center in the Basra Health Department, organized a scientific symposium entitled Early detection of breast cancer, under the supervision of the Deanship of the College of Nursing represented by Dr. family and a number of teaching staff and students. The symposium included early detection of breast cancer. The attending women were introduced to the seriousness of breast cancer after presenting Iraqi and international statistics in this regard and clarifying the most important symptoms and signs associated with the disease, and how to diagnose, treat and prevent this deadly disease that leads to women's lives, as well as training women on the method of breast self-examination using simulation dolls and distributing educational brochures regarding breast cancer. the breast . Prof. Dr. Abdul-Amir Abdullah Al-Moussawi, Dean of the College of Nursing at the University of Basra, stressed the extent of the college's keenness to organize many awareness seminars throughout the year, in order to activate the college's role in reducing community problems and contributing to solving them. |
