The symposium included four research papers that dealt with the relationship of the country with culture and cinema, the roots and experiences of the critic Fayez al-Kanaani, the youth cinema by the critic Mahdi Abbas, reading of women in Iraqi cinema by Dr. Kawthar Muhammad Ali Jbara, and the elements of cinema as an aesthetic art by film director Azzam Saleh
