Avicenna E-Learning Center at the University of Basra organized an electronic workshop on MOOC & OER, with the participation of teachers and researchers from Iraqi universities.
The workshop, which was held virtually, aims to develop the level of education of students and researchers by holding open-source academic courses that are offered free of charge over the Internet that promote regular learning and lifelong learning.
The workshop, which was moderated by the instructor Abdullah Jassim Yassin, included a consideration of how to easily access and obtain educational training materials of various types, pointing to the University of Basra’s possession of the open-source courses and resources platform, which contributes to preparing learners for continuing education, enrolling in advanced academic programs and obtaining certificates of appreciation.
