The Director of Avicenna E-Learning Center at the University of Basra, Dr. Uday Bashir Issa, participated in a virtual meeting with UNESCO on the development of education in light of the current circumstances, future plans, and the importance of digital transformation. The meeting, which was held via visual media, discussed the long-term strategy within UNESCO's plans to make blended education an important focus, as well as providing all quality requirements for the advancement of education globally. It is new to mention that the meeting was attended by representatives of the Iraqi universities covered by the support of UNESCO, including ours, in addition to the participation of other international universities.
