A master's thesis at the faculty of Science at the University of Basra discussed (Study of Some Virulence Factors of Most Prevalent Bacteria Associated with Otitis Media), The researcher's thesis (Noor Hafeh Ahmed) included the isolation and diagnosis of the bacteria that cause otitis media ,The thesis aimed to identify the extent of the virulence of isolated bacterial species and their resistance to antibiotics, and concluded that most bacteria were resistant to antibiotics, and There was a relationship between its ability to form biofilm and its resistance to antibiotics, and it recommended conducting studies on the genes responsible for antibiotic resistance, and also conducting studies to reach physical, chemical or enzymatic methods for dissolving the biofilm.
