The Continuing Education and Development
Center organized an online workshop on teaching methods and techniques, with a focus on (Blended education) within the Development and Rehabilitation Project.
The aim of the workshop, which is part of a developmental training course on teaching methods for faculty members, is to provide the trainees with information on modern, regular and electronic teaching methods (focusing on blendeded education), which combines traditional education and e-learning.
The workshop, which was presented by Dr. Majda Ibrahim Al-Bawi ( from the University of Baghdad - College of Education for Pure Sciences - Ibn Al-Haytham), included clarification of the difference between learning and teaching, providing sufficient information on teaching methods, teaching strategies, and a brief presentation of the concept of blended education and its types.
In the end, the recommendation was to provide more of the theoretical and practical lectures for the members of the faculties about e-learning and blended education and to develop their e-learning skills
