The Center for Development and Continuing Education at the University of Basra organized a course on accounting and auditing (transformation from classic accounting systems to modern electronic accounting systems) within the enrichment project
The course aimed to provide participants with modern accounting information and observations of control and auditing, and to work on updating their accounting information as required with the development of business.
The course, which was presented by the teacher Ahmed Sami Ibrahim Al-Dirawi and the teacher Ahmed Abdel Karim Mohamed Al-Yasin, included a theoretical focus for the accounting course and methods of processing in paper handling and electronic dealing, and a practical aspect that included the presentation and application of some modern accounting systems ERP, in addition to presenting the concepts of the audit process and presenting the traditional and modern goals with an emphasis on the most important Standards for preparing the auditor's report
In the end, the recommendation was to work continuously on enriching the employees with courses that combine the theoretical side and the practical side in line with the job titles of the participants
