
In an unprecedented step, the central control room managed by the Avicenna Center for Virtual Education established a connection via the network with many classrooms in the scientific departments of the colleges in the presence of students, and using the latest networking and video recording systems. As a prelude to creating a live broadcast from the lecture classrooms to the mobiles of absent students so that they can follow up on their lectures from their homes and faraway governorates if they cannot reach their classrooms for various humanitarian and social reasons
The director of the center, Dr. Uday Bashir Issa, said, "The technicians of the central follow-up room at the university presidency were able to connect with many classrooms in the scientific departments of the colleges in an (online) method. The university president, Dr. Saad Shaheen Hammadi, and the scientific assistant, Dr. Zaki Abdullah Ahmed, were able to visually monitor the progress of the educational process with students and teaching staff and establish a dialogue with them aimed at emphasizing the standards of teaching methods and ensuring the quality of the educational and scientific content delivered in the lecture
This unique step will soon enable the students' families to follow up on their children (online) live, to check on their actual presence to receive the science and knowledge at the university
