Sopat Cultural House, in cooperation with the Translation Department and the Cultural Center at the University of Basrah, held on Monday 8/9/2021 a dialogue session under the title of the English language between learning requirements and the translation process.
The session aims to train students on the use of language and consecutive interpretation. This session is a kind of practical training for students of the translation department on the use of language in public life.
The session included a dialogue in English on language and translation with Assistant Professor Hashem Kateh, accompanied in translation by the two students, Shahad Imad and Tabarak Saleh.
At the conclusion of the dialogue session, the organizing committee concluded that the practical activities are an incentive for the students of the translation department to develop their skills and their ability to master the art of translation.
