The University of Basrah participated in the joint meeting, held in the office of the Basrah governorate, which is related to the development of precautionary plans to confront crises that the governorate may be exposed to and how to deal with them through work and coordination between the authorities concerned with crisis management
This meeting was held under the supervision of the Joint Coordination and Monitoring Center (JCMC) department, affiliated with the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers
The World Health Organization, the World Food Program, the Iraqi Red Crescent, and all government departments in the governorate participated in this meeting
Dr. Muhammad Nasser Fares stated that the University of Basrah participates strongly and effectively in supporting all the specialized authorities in developing precautionary plans and crisis management in the governorate by providing advice and expertise in all fields
