The College of Nursing at the University of Basra announces the opening of applications for evening studies for the 2021-2022 school year for graduates of the preparatory study (scientific - biology) and nursing high school graduates.
Note that the minimum acceptance rate is (65%).
The application will be on the website of the College of Nursing located in Basra, Bab Al-Zubair Colleges Complex
Categories covered by the application:
1- Preparatory school graduates (scientific or biology).
2- Nursing preparatory graduates from the Basra Health Department employees.
Terms and conditions for applying:
1- Visit the college’s website (http://nur.uobasrah.edu.iq) for the purpose of downloading and filling out the electronic application form by the applicant completely and accurately, and then withdrawing it on paper, provided that it is stamped and signed by the preparatory school for the applicant and then submitted to the Registration Division And Student Affairs in the College for the purpose of receiving the application file, and to download the form, click here
2- The percentage of accepted students will be as follows: (90% for graduates of the scientific or biological branch + 10% for graduates of nursing preparatory school) according to the directives of the Ministry.
3- Bring each of the following documents to be attached to the file:
A- (4 colored copies) of the unified national card and the four documents (civil status identity + citizenship certificate + housing card + ration card) in addition to a housing endorsement stamped by the municipal council of the student’s place of residence and certified by the provincial council addressed to (College of Nursing - University Basra).
B- An equivalency certificate with the Ministry of Education for students who obtained the certificate from outside Iraq.
C- 6 color photos.
General Notes:
** The extension period for submission starts from Sunday 21/11/2021 until the end of the official working day on Sunday 19/12/2021
** A special date will be set for interviews for all applicants, so we ask all applicants to follow the college’s website to find out the date of their interview, and the applicant’s right to be accepted will forfeit in the event he does not attend the interview
