The College of Science at the University of Basrah organized a seminar entitled Celiac disease by the PhD student Safaa Hussein Abdullah.
The study aims to Idntification and evalution of risk genes , serological tests and immunoinflammatory mediators in the celiac disease patients and included compared the sensitivity, specificity, and predictive value of anti tissue transglutaminase and anti-gliadin antibodies in consecutive patients investigated for celiac disease antibodies, and to test for the role of Non - HLA polymorphisms in the development of celiac disease (CD) in Iraqi patients.
