Assist Prof. Dr. Mohammed Ali Jaber, a lecturer at polymer research centre, participated in 1st Applied Conference and Exhibition for The Patents of the University of Basrah-Collage of Pharmacy-Electron Microscope Unit in Cooperation with Innovation and Creativity Center, 10-11 November, 2021. The first award was granted to Dr. Mohammed because his patent, entitled "Iraqi technology for manufacturing lightweight and high density X-ray shield panels", is considered to be one of the most influential works in the area of applied science. The 1st recipient also also awarded gold medal and golden cup for this innovative manufacturing approach.
