The Department of Chemistry at the University of Basrah hosted a lecture about Antibiotics classification and mechanisms of action. The ecture was presented by Dr. Luma Saeed Mohammed, a faculty memmber at the college of Science, the University of Baghdad. The lecture aimed to Explain the categories of antibiotics and the mechanisms of action against bacteria and the resistance of bacteria to it, At the end, The lecturer recommeded following the doctor`s instruction and minimizing the comsumption of antibiotics.
