On Wednesday, 1/12/2021, the Department of Arabic Language at the College of Arts / University of Basrah organized a panel discussion entitled (The Necessity of the Parsing Mark in the Constructive Qur’anic Context).
The panel discussion, presented by Prof. Dr. Ahmed Rasan, aims to shed light on the role of the parsing mark in clarifying and defining the meaning and studying the constructive context, which is a group of words that relate to the word to be clarified.
The panel discussion included a study of the parsing marks and the characteristics of the constructive context in the Qur’anic verses and a study of the difference between the original parsing mark and the mark as a presumption.
In the panel discussion, the researchers recommended the need to intensify efforts to produce more studies that illuminate more linguistic and grammatical aspects of the Arab heritage.
