Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Abdul-Amir Abdullah Al-Mousawi, Dean of the College of Nursing at the University of Basra, and under the direct supervision of the teacher, Dr. Hisham Hussein Abdul-Raouf, Associate Dean for Administrative Affairs. The College of Nursing at the University of Basra organized an attendance and awareness seminar on electronic blackmail, its means and its types and its dangers to societal peace through social media, in which Assistant Professor Dr. , and a number of faculty members and college students. The symposium dealt with a number of important topics that were highlighted with the aim of defining the risks and damages resulting from lack of awareness and sufficient care while using the Internet. The symposium aimed at the importance of awareness and prevention, and taking all precautions regarding how to deal with modern technology in electronic correspondence, and how to use social media platforms in an optimal way. |
