On Thursday morning 9/12/2021 a PhD thesis, entitled (Constructive Semantics in Ayat al-Ahkam in the interpretation of Rouh Al-Ma’ani and Tafsir al-Mizan - a balancing study), was discussed at the Department of Arabic Language at the College of Arts / University of Basrah.
The thesis submitted by the student Abhar Hadi Muhammad included four chapters. The first chapter discussed deletion, the second chapter dealt with hysteron proteron, the third chapter included release and limitation, and the fourth chapter discussed the manifestation and implication. The thesis concluded with the most important findings of the researcher.
The thesis aims to stand on the possibility of the ability of constructive semantics - if taken into account - to reach the ruling without looking at the narratives of the Sunnah, while following the sayings of the commentators and the extent of reliance on the significance of the text at the expense of other references outside it.
The thesis concluded that in the Quran there are words and uses that help to hint at the semantics in the text when it is used to commensurate with the linguistic ability on which the Quranic text is organized. This does not mean excluding the texts of the Sunnah, but what is meant to be said, especially in the verses of the rulings: that the Quranic text is intended to convey a global theory to organize human life, and human internal and external relations for the duration of life in this simple world.
