A PhD thesis in University of Basrah titled Paleontological and stratigraphic study of the Shiranish Formation in selected wells from middle and southern Iraq held in the College of Science in Geology Department, the researcher Hawraa Ramadhan Youns demonstrated the most important objectives of study by determining the life areas of the diagnosed races and determining the most important ages based on those races and comparing those areas with the areas identified in previous studies to find out the differences between the northern and southern regions.
